From September 6 to 10, a 16-member teen delegation from Namyangju, South Korea visited Changzhou No. 2 Middle School. 14 of them were from Namyangju’s middle and high schools. Since the establishment of the Friendship City relationship between Namyangju and Changzhou in September 1999, the two sides have conducted extensive exchanges in the fields of economy, trade, culture and education. Among them, youth exchanges are particularly active and fruitful through various activities, which has made positive contributions to the internationalization of Changzhou’s education. At the welcoming ceremony, Li Zhenya, president of Changzhou No.2 Middle School, introduced the history and cultural characteristics of the school. Sima Shuanglong, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, warmly welcomed the South Korean teens to Changzhou on behalf of the municipal government. He hoped that the students will become friends and serve as the messengers of the friendship between China and South Korea. During the visit, the South Korean students came into the classroom, participated in the flag-raising ceremony, experienced painting and calligraphy courses, and learned to make moon cakes and dumplings. In addition to the school, they also stayed in Changzhou students' families and visited the Tianning Temple and Changzhou Museum.
