On the morning of May 17th, the seminar on industrial energy efficiency to meet the era of Industry 4.0 was held in Changzhou Science & Education Town. Zhang Yue, member of the Standing Committee of Changzhou Municipal Committee of CPC and director of the United Front Work Department, attended the seminar and delivered a speech.

The term "Industry 4.0" originates from a project in the high-tech strategy of the German government, which promotes the computerization of the manufacturing industry. It refers to the fourth industrial revolution. It is a collective term for technologies and concepts of value chain organization. Based on the technological concepts of cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things and the Internet of Services, it facilitates the vision of the Smart Factory.
