On December 3, it was learned that Wujin District Government has taken the lead in setting up a boot fund to guide the development of the sports industry, so as to support the growth of sports. The amount of the fund is expected to exceed 3 million yuan, and the first 500,000 yuan has already been paid in.

The boot fund has to be declared once a year, raised by means of financial aid, interest subsidies, incentives, etc., focusing on supporting sports services, including comprehensive fitness centers invested by non-public capital, and professional sports clubs, sports agencies, sports training and other service companies registered or established in Wujin. Meanwhile, those sports enterprises participating in the development of National Sporting Goods Standards or awarded as Famous Trademarks at or above provincial level will also be supported.
