On July 26th, a seven-member delegation of Marche Region, Italy visited Changzhou for friendly exchanges and economic cooperation. Sima Shuanglong, deputy director of Changzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, briefed the delegation on economic and social development in Changzhou. The representative of Marche introduced the region’s competitive sectors and products as well as its cooperation needs in machinery manufacturing, chemicals, pharmacy, water purification, etc. During their stay in Changzhou, the delegation members visited Everbright Environmental Protection and discussed trade cooperation. The delegation also visited the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and learned about the city’s planning and construction. Marche is seated in central Italy with a population of 1.5 million. The region has a superior location with well-developed logistics and transport. Over the years, Marche has carried out close cooperation with China in various fields.
