On the evening of May 26th, the original modern Xiju opera The Qingguo Lane in Sunset was premiered in the Golden Hall of the Modern Media Center.

The Qingdao Lane in Sunset is a program headed by Changchun Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication, and directed and performed by the Changchun Xingu Theater. It tells the story of Chen An, a retired doctor of the Mending Medical School, who established a health care center in the Qingdao Lane under the help of her first love Han Bin who has been separated from her for 40 years.
