Recently, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) has officially approved the proposal of Xinbei District to establish friendship relationship with Roth, Germany, which will become the first international friendship city of Xinbei and the 35th friendship city of Changzhou.

Roth is located in Bavaria, Germany. Bavaria settles many German corporate headquarters, such as BMW, Audi, Siemens, Infineon, Puma, Adidas, etc.

It is reported that Xinbei has held recently an investment promotion forum in Roth, and the two sides have initially decided to carry out student exchange visits in May 2015 for vocational education.
