Ding Chun meets with the governor of Yilan county, Taiwan

Mayor Ding Chun met with the economic and trade delegation led by Lin Zimiao, governor of Yilan county, Taiwan on April 17.

The delegation, with more than 100 members, came to Changzhou to carry out agricultural and fishery product promotion activities. This is the first time that Changzhou and Yilan carried out a special event on economic and trade exchanges.

Ding Chun introduced the history and culture as well as social and economic development of Changzhou. He said that the prospects for more cooperation in agriculture and tourism between the two places are very promising, and expressed the expectation of further strengthening mutual understanding, increase exchanges and achieve win-win cooperation between the two sides.

Lin Zimiao said that Changzhou and Yilan have had frequent interactions and exchanges over the years. The delegation would like to take this opportunity to promote further cooperation between the two places and seek a better future together.

On the same day, the promotion fair of Yilan county, Taiwan was held in Changzhou. The event focused on Yilan’s tourism programs and agricultural and fishery specialties, with the goal of presenting the good lifestyle in Yilan.

Yilan County , also spelled Ilan County, is in located on the east north coast of Taiwan. It has famous sightseeing and tourism resources such as Jiaoxi’s hot spring resorts, Suao’s cold springs and the Guishan Island. The main products are rice, tea, onion, pear and kumquat.
