Recently, Liyang Meteorological Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Science and Technology Museum was opened. Such science and technology museum appears for the first time in Changzhou area. Visitors can feel the thunder and lightning storm and other natural phenomena that occur in the atmosphere, as well as the natural disasters that may arise. Through the presentation and explanation, the general public and minors could deep the consciousness of concerning and protecting nature and improve the knowledge and ability of defending natural disasters.
　　The museum is free of charge. Saturday and Sunday are open for public, while Monday to Friday are open for student teams.
