On the 18th of January, the 2017 New Year Concert was held in Changzhou Theatre by Changzhou Primary and Middle School Students� Modern Chinese Orchestra. City leaders Zhang Donghai and Ju Liqin attended the concert.

In the concert, 120 students played nine songs for audience, including the “Spring Festival Suite�? a Chinese orchestral work composed by Li Huanzhi, the traditional hit "Racing Horses", double concerto For erhu And cello “Chrysanthemum Terrace�? etc.

The concert also invited students and teachers from Nanjing University as the co-stars.

Changzhou Primary and Middle School Students� Modern Chinese Orchestra was established in 2007. The orchestra has took part in many international competitions and shows.
