On the morning of October 17th, the Mid-Brabant Administration Committee of Tilburg of the Netherlands and Changzhou Aviation Industrial Park signed the cooperative agreement. Both sides agreed to co-build the Sino-Dutch Aviation Industry Development Cooperative Park. Mr. Dai Yuan, Deputy Party Secretary of Changzhou, and Mr. Erik de Ridder, Vice Mayor of Tilburg, unveiled the plague for the cooperative park. Tilburg and Changzhou established sister-city relationship in 1997. In March, 2010, Tilburg Innovation Center set up its representative office in Changzhou Science and Education Town. The aviation industry of Tilburg, including logistics hub, military airport base and production of relevant products, develops very fast. Boeing Company has a global training base in this city. The Tilburg Mid-Brabant Committee has established an aviation platform called Gate 2 and the aviation industrial park in order to develop its aviation industry. The platform and park can help the aviation enterprises with training, recruiting professional talents, building partnership and developing innovative products. After the establishment of the Sino-Dutch Aviation Industry Development Cooperative Park, both sides will organize activities like trade fairs, product exhibitions, scientific and technological seminars and association annual meetings, promote mutual exchanges and cooperation, and develop all kinds of potential investment projects regarding aviation manufacturing and aviation services.
