Recently it was learned from the municipal statistics authority that Changzhou’s leasing services and business services grew rapidly. Over the first nine months of this year, enterprises above designated size in the service sector maintained a stable situation, while 40 percent of operating profit came from leasing services and business services.

Currently, Changzhou has a total of 333 companies of leasing services or business services above designated size.

Leasing services include two categories, namely, machinery and equipment, and cultural and daily supplies. Business services include business management, legal services, consulting and investigation, advertising, intellectual property services, human resources, travel agent and related services, security services, business services, etc.

Data show that from January to September the city's service enterprises above designated size achieved operating income of 48.16 billion yuan, up 18.5%, and operating profit of 5.75 billion yuan, an increase of 34.3%; while those of leasing services and business services reached operating revenue of 14.32 billion yuan, and operating profit of 2.45 billion yuan, accounting for 42.6% of the total profit of above-scale service companies.
