Recently, it was learned from Changzhou Ruling Professional Cooperative of Lingzhi Mushroom that the red lingzhi introduced from South Korea has been successfully cultivated under the direction of experts from Nanjing University. Currently, 200 farm households have grown 300 mu of red lingzhi, making turnover of 20,000 yuan per mu.

The lingzhi mushroom or reishi mushroom (Chinese pinyin: língzhī, literally: "supernatural mushroom") is a species complex that encompasses several fungal species of the genus Ganoderma. Red reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), commonly known as lingzhi in Chinese, is a herbal mushroom known to have miraculous health benefits.
