According to the information released on February 17th, Changzhou Hanke Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd., in cooperation with Henkel AG & Co., KGaA, has developed a new technology of automotive body reconstruction in the use of liquid alloy specified by the ISO 2355:1972 Chemical Analysis of Magnesium and Its Alloys, which is commonly known as magnesium and aluminum alloys in automobiles. It is currently the latest technology in China, which will contribute to a great reduction of vehicle maintenance cost. This technology is mainly applied to the models of Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, etc. According to Ni Shengguang, the general manager of Changzhou Hanke, the technology is likely to replace the auto repair putty which has been used for decades in traditional car manufacture and maintenance, and they have applied for patent for invention in EU, the United States, South Korea and Japan.
