In May, the amount of foreign investment actually entered into account in Changzhou was USD 116 million, up 38.9% from April. The amount of committed foreign investment registered with the industry and commerce administration authorities was USD 210 million, increased by 35.2% compared with last month and the amount of newly signed foreign investment agreement reached USD 340 million, up 72.3%. The total foreign import and export in May amounted to USD 2.58 billion, grew by 11.79% from the previous month among which the export was USD 1.806 billion, up 10.39% and the import was USD 770 million, up 14.75%.
