On October 21st, Changzhou and other three cities were listed as one of the first batch of pilot cities in the teleconference on the Launch of National Pilot Project for Building Healthcare Big Data Centers and Industrial Parks. Yan Li, secretary of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, made a statement on behalf of Changzhou at the sub-venue. The development of big data applications will bring about profound changes in the health care system. In June of this year, the State Council issued theGuidance on the Promotion and Standardization of Healthcare Big Data Application and Development, in order to comply with the development trends of emerging information technology and standardize and promote the integration and sharing of healthcare big data. The main data include: building inter-connected national-, provincial-, municipal- and county-level health information platform; integrating medical data resources to build support systems of clinical decision-making, disease diagnosis, drug development, etc.; developing telemedicine and smart medical equipment to establish health records and other basic database. This time, four cities are listed as national pilot cities of healthcare big data, namely Fuzhou, Xiamen, Nanjing and Changzhou.
