On July 31, Jiangsu province reported no new locally transmitted case of Covid-19.

One inbound symptomless case was newly reported in the province.

Another hospitalized Covid-19 patient was discharged, while five asymptomatic carriers (four local and one inbound) were released from medical observation.

Five confirmed cases (one local and four inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 28 asymptomatic carriers (13 local and 15 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 644 high-risk and 461 medium-risk areas.
