According to the officially released information from the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, between 00:00 and 24:00, February 24, no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jiangsu. One of the previously severe cases has turned moderate after treatment. 31 additional patients have been cured and discharged from the hospital, of which one was once in critical condition.

As of the 24th of February, 631 confirmed cases have been reported in Jiangsu accumulatively, of which 51 were confirmed in Changzhou. To date, a total of 41 patients in Changzhou diagnosed with COVID-19 have been cured and have been subsequently discharged from the hospital.

Experts urge the public to take necessary health precautions, including keeping hands clean and washing hands correctly before meals, after using the toilet and after contact with easily contaminated objects. As enterprises have started resuming operation, it is suggested to reduce crowd gatherings and outdoor activities while ensuring the gradual resumption of normal work and lifestyle. Regular cleaning and appropriate disinfection should be maintained at the workplace. Public places where no confirmed cases or asymptomatic carriers have been found should ensure good ventilation and hygiene while maintaining preventive disinfection and supplemental measures. Provided that there have been no visitors at your place, regular cleaning at home should suffice. If you are conducting disinfection, apply personal protection to avoid health problems and environmental pollution.
