Latest update on COVID-19 dynamics in Jiangsu province

Between 00:00 and 24:00 of March 24, no new confirmed locally transmitted cases were reported in Jiangsu province. Twenty-five asymptomatic infections (two in Nanjing, 14 in Changzhou, five in Suzhou, three in Nantong, and one in Yancheng) were newly registered in the province.

One inbound confirmed case and three inbound symptomless cases were newly reported in Jiangsu.

Four confirmed cases were discharged from hospitals, while 10 asymptomatic carriers were released from medical observation.

At present, 82 confirmed cases (65 local and 17 inbound) are under treatment at designated hospitals, while 428 asymptomatic cases (403 local and 25 inbound) are under medical observation.

From January 22, 2020 to March 24, 2022, a total of 1,992 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 220 inbound ones) had been reported in Jiangsu cumulatively.

Changzhou has classified 10 high-risk and 13 medium-risk areas for the virus.

The high-risk areas are in Zhonglou district. They are:

Qingyun Lanwan construction site at 8-2 Mid. Longjiang Rd.; Buildings 6 and 7 of Caihongcheng residential area; and Buildings 105, 115, 119, 150, 158, 163, and 174 of Qinglongyuan residential.

The medium-risk areas are:

The north part of Xincheng Lanzuan residential area and the Caihongcheng residential area in Tianning district; Zhangjia village, Mingdong St., Hongxing International Plaza, and 101-1 Daoxiang Rd. in Wujin district; Building 194 of Shunyuan Liucun residential area, Xiajiatang of Benniu town, and Buildings 97, 118, 137, and 138 of Shimao Xiangbinhu residential area in Xinbei district; and Building 17 of Jinxiyuan residential area in Zhonglou district.
