Recently, Jintan District, Changzhou signed a Friendship City Agreement with Shepperton, Victoria, Australia.

Shepparton is a city located on the floodplain of the Goulburn River in northern Victoria, Australia, approximately 181 kilometres north-northeast of Melbourne. Shepparton is renowned internationally as Australia’s food bowl with farm gate sales, factory outlets and cellar door options.

The Australian delegation visited some of Jintan’s representative enterprises like Eging PV, Zotye Automotive, etc. The two sides will cooperate in photovoltaic, agriculture, tourism and many other fields, including the project of co-constructing a photovoltaic power station in Australia.

Prior to this, Jintan has established sister-city relationships with Cuijk (Netherlands), Saint-Georges (France) and Fauquier (United States).
