Asahi Kasei’s delegation visits Changzhou West Taihu Industrial Park

On the afternoon of January 15, a delegation of Asahi Kasei Corporation visited Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park (WEZ).

Asahi Kasei is a global Japanese chemical company. Its main products are chemicals and materials science. It was founded in May 1931, using the paid in capital of Nobeoka Ammonia Fiber Co., Ltd, a Nobeoka, Miyazaki based producer of ammonia, nitric acid, and other chemicals. It is now headquartered in Tokyo, with offices and plants across Japan, as well as China, Singapore, Thailand, U.S.A. and Germany. The company is listed on the first section of Tokyo Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the TOPIX 100 and Nikkei 225 stock market indices.

The delegation visited the West Taihu Lake International Medical Industrial Park (WIM), and learned about the development model of the park and the innovation of the medical industry. The two sides conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on issues related to future cooperation.
