On Jan 13, the 2018 China (Changzhou) Mobile-Internet Forum was held in the Administration Center. City leaders Zhou Bin and Lu Mingkang attended the opening ceremony.

The theme of this event is "Smart Cities · Intelligent Manufacturing · Internet Sharing". The top executives from Internet companies such as Tencent, Baidu, Jingdong, eBay, Qunar and CAXA shared their ideas on the development trends of the mobile-Internet industry and their entrepreneurship stories. They also had discussions on topics of sharing economy, artificial intelligence, cross-border e-commerce, precise poverty alleviation, etc.

The forum honored the 2017 Changzhou CIO of the Year award winners.
