On November 8 and November 9, the Changzhou government held two business sessions in Shanghai, one with the AHK and the other with the Swiss Center. Huan Heng, deputy mayor of Changzhou, Xu Jingbo, vice president of the AHK China, and Nicolas Musy, founder of the Swiss Center, attended the two-day event. As the fifth CIIE has just wrapped up, the aim of this event is to offer a global platform for Changzhou enterprises, so that they will get in touch with more international resources. Through careful preparation in advance, the two business sessions attracted corporate representatives from over 30 German companies and more than 20 Swiss enterprises. On the Changzhou side, over 50 delegates from the business community took part in the event. The participants exchanged their views and business needs with each other, forming closer ties. The matchmaking event has played a positive role in enhancing the trade and economic cooperation between Changzhou and Germany, and that between Changzhou and Switzerland.
