The 12th National Games will be opened in Shenyang on August 31st. 100 Changzhou athletes will attend the Games and participate in 24 programs, breaking record in the number of participants.
The members of Changzhou Team include: Lu Chunlong (Beijing Olympic trampoline champion), Qiu Tiao (Chinese boxing world champion), Lu Lan and Jiang Yanjiao (famous badminton players), Xue Chen (champion of Women's Beach Volleyball World Championships), Gao Tingjie (Youth Olympic shooting champion), Chen Wenyuan and Zhang Yunlu (famous archery athletes), Wang Min, Wang Xuanxuan, Wang Mengyu and Tang Chunling (members of the Chinese national team at London Olympics), and so on.
