On May 24, the world's first mass production base for L4 self-driving vehicles was officially put into operation at the Innovation Park of Wujin National High-Tech Industrial Zone (WIZ). The production base was established in June 2018 by Neolix Technologies Co., Ltd. in WIZ, mainly engaged in R&D and production of L4 self-driving logistics vehicles. Neolix is the leading innovator of smart logistics products in China and the pioneer of self-driving logistics vehicles. Its strategic partners include CHJ Automotive and Baidu Apollo. It is learned that the second-generation self-driving delivery vehicle SLV11 has a loading space of 2.4 cubic meters. It is equipped with multiple sensors such as laser radar and camera, which can accurately detect obstacles and convey meals from restaurants to consumers. Neolix’s new production line in Wujin has an annual capacity of nearly 10,000 vehicles. As the first partner to join the Meituan Dianping unmanned distribution development platform, the products of Neolix have been put into operation in Xiongan New Area (Hebei), Chaoyang Park (Beijing) and Shougang Park (Beijing).
