On the morning of October 29^th, Saint-Gobain Changzhou’s second gypsum powder production line, with a total investment of nearly 100 million yuan, has been completed and put into operation, which will allow the company to reach annual output of 165,000 tons of gypsum powder. Mayor Fei Gaoyun, deputy mayor Wang Chengbin and secretary-general Xu Xinmin attended the launching ceremony of the new production line.

Fei said in his speech that the production line is not only a milestone in the growth of Saint-Gobain Changzhou, but also an important outcome of the city’s efforts in the Year of Further Promoting Key Projects.

It is learned that the Saint-Gobain is ranked the 192^ndin the 2015 Fortune 500 and the first among the world’s top 100 building material suppliers. Saint-Gobain Gypsum Building Materials (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 in Chunjiang Town, Xinbei District, with a total investment of $ 113.6 million.
