On August 31, Mayor Ding Chun met with the delegation headed by Yang Jun, general manager of China Electronics Corporation (CEC), at the Administration Center.

Ding said that Changzhou has been promoting economic restructuring and upgrading based on major projects, in order to continuously enhance the city's competitiveness and influence. He hoped that the two sides will further strengthen the exchange and cooperation in intelligent manufacturing, technology R&D, information services and other fields, and constantly extend the chain of Changzhou’s information industry.

Yang said that CEC will actively seek cooperation with Changzhou in intelligent manufacturing, smart city, new display technology, network security and other fields, and continue to expand the breadth and depth of cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and common development.

CEC is one of the key state-owned enterprises. It specializes in new display technology, network security and information technology, integrated circuits, information services, etc. In 2016, CEC realized operating income of 198.2 billion yuan.
