The Jiangsu Provincial Green Factories 2021 list, which includes 186 manufacturers across the province, has been released recently by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

Sixteen Changzhou-based companies, such as CRRC Qishuyan Locomotive & Rolling Stock Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., are on the list.

As of the end of 2021, 25 manufacturers in Changzhou have made their way to the provincial-level green factories list according to the General Principles of Green Factory Assessment (GBT36132-2018).

The standard, proposed by the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), was jointly formulated by China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI), together with related industrial associations of iron and steel, petrochemical, building materials, machinery, and vehicle manufacturers.
