Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the list of the second batch of green manufacturers. Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co., Ltd., Changzhou Xurong Knitting Printing And Dyeing Co., Ltd., Yadong (Changzhou) Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Zealink Electrical Technology Co., Ltd., Zenith Steel Group Co., Ltd. were rated as national green factories.

The development of green manufacturing is an important part of "Made in China 2025", aiming to solve the problem of inadequate and imbalanced industrial green development. From 2017 onwards, MIIT has carried out green manufacturing projects to accelerate the building of a green manufacturing system, focusing on promoting green factories, green industrial parks, green products, green supply chains and green public service systems to foster green manufacturing industries.
