On April 1, a Changzhou government and business delegation visited Harbin for match making with Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in the field ofrobotics and intelligent equipment industry.

Bearing a history of over 90 years, HIT has been focusing on the sectors of aerospace and national defense, giving full play to its advantages of interdisciplinary studies and taking the initiative to undertake the national high-tech precision and large-scale technology projects. Over the years, HIT has always been at the forefront of scientific research strength among domestic colleges. Since 2000, HIT has allocated a total of nearly RMB 10 billion in research funding, ranking among the top 5 universities of research input. Last year, HIT carried out more than 2,500 scientific research programs, enjoying advantages in high-end equipment, intelligent robots and so on. In recent years, Changzhou has practiced a series of cooperation with HIT, and Harbin Institute of Robotics has settled in Changzhou Science and Education Town and has incubated and developed Changzhou Mingseal Robot Technology Co., Ltd. and other technology and innovation companies.

The Changzhou delegation visited HIT��s National Key Laboratory of Robotics Technology and System, Space System and Control Research Center, Precision Engineering Research Institute, etc. Changzhou enterprise representatives from Yisida Battery, Quick Electronics, Changzhou Power Station Auxiliary Equipment Works, Jinghua Numerical Equipment and Rongtianle Machinery had matching making with HIT on technological issues and reached intention towards cooperation in fields of multi-axis CNC machining, special drive motor, industrial noise control and so on.
