Changzhou introduces two new projects in auto industry

Recently, Benecke-Changshun Eco Firm, member of Continental AG and one of the Fortune 500 companies, held its ground breaking ceremony in Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone.

Continental AG is a famous auto-parts supplier with more than 190,000 employees. Its sales revenue reached around EUR34.5 billion in 2014. The new project, with a total investment of EUR75 million, mainly produces low-emission auto interior materials. The new plant in Phrase I is expected to offer 250 jobs and increase the company’s capacity in China by 100%.

At the same time, Taditel (Changzhou) Automotive Electronics Limited has been officially put into operation in the Sino-Israel (Changzhou) Innovation Park of the West Taihu Lake Science & Technology Industrial Zone.

Taditel plays a leading role in the production and development of electronic components for automobiles. Its major clients include BOSCH, Remy International, etc. The manufacturing base in Israel will be removed to the new company in Changzhou. At present, the company has already received orders from BOSCH (China) and BYD Auto, targeting at annual sales of 100 million yuan in 2015.
