On June 10 and 11, a delegation headed by Fan Yanqing, Secretary of Changzhou Municipal Committee of the CPC, visited Chengdu again for UNISPAR program match making with Sichuan University in field of biopharmacy.

On the morning of June 11, Changzhou and Sichuan University signed a contract on the new Biopharmacy Innovation Platform, upon which Sichuan University will contribute the resources of brand, technology and talents to help Changzhou Biopharmaceutical Industrial Park realize transformation of 8 to 10 scientific achievements within 2 or 3 years.

Biopharmaceutical industry has become a key industry of Changzhou . Currently, the city owns about 500 biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, five of which have been listed at stock market. On the other hand, Sichuan University has a State Key Laboratory of Biological Treatment. The cooperation between both parties will play an important role in improving Changzhou ��sBiopharmaceutical industry.
