On April 9, experts from 30 famous universities nationwide, such as Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Peking University, and so on, gathered in Changzhou to participate in the annual Universities Roundtable on university-industry-science partnership (UNISPAR) programs. Vice Mayor Wang Chengbin attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The annual China (Changzhou) Advanced Manufacturing Achievements Exhibition, commonly known as the ?·18 Fair, has become a representative event displaying Changzhou’s achievements in technological innovation and served as a platform for universities and institutes to seek cooperation with enterprises in Changzhou. Up to now, Changzhou has signed cooperation agreements with 23 colleges and institutes, and the number of corporate R & D institutions has amounted to 1,052, playing a major role in breakthroughs of core technologies and key projects.
