On Jan 18, Changzhou Jiefang Road Primary School and Silver?Star?Elementary?School, Vernon, British Columbia (BC) signed officially a sister school agreement. Ms. Tracy Godfrey, representative of Vernon?Department?of?Education, attended the signing ceremony together with the leaders of Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Education, Tianning District Bureau of Education, Culture and Sports, and Changzhou Jiefang Road Primary School Education Group.

At the ceremony, Ms. Godfrey introduced the geographic and educational situation of Vernon. Pan Chenyang, president of Jiefang Road Primary School Education Group, briefed the participants on the history of Jiefang Road Primary School and the remarkable achievements in recent years.

Both parties signed the sister school agreement and expressed their good wishes for the international cooperation between the two sides.
