On August 19, ChangzhouEGing Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Jiao Tong University co-sponsored the Demonstration of the Construction Planning of Jiangsu (EGing) Photovoltaic Engineering Research Institute and the Building Program of the Start-Up Period.

In the first half of year, the project of Jiangsu (EGing) PV Engineering Research Institute was approved by the Provincial Science and Technology Department and received special funds from the authority. Within three years, ChangzhouEGingwill invest an amount of RMB 300 million and build new research sites of 50,000 square meters equipped with 120 sets of advanced equipments. Together with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and other research institutions, EGing will carry out 60 UNISPAR programs on PV technology, promising to transfer two or more significant research achievements annually and submit more than 100 patent applications per year. Besides, EGing is planning to introduce over 10 pioneer PV engineering specialists both at home and abroad, 300 R&D professionals and 100 mobile researchers. Three years later, the Institute will be built into a world-class advanced and leading PV R&D base containing seven centers for new product development, special materials development, systems engineering R&D, etc.
