From April 26 to 30, a 10-member delegation from Germany headed by Bernd Woide, governor of Fulda, and Heiko Wingenfeld, Mayor of Fulda, visited Liyang.

On April 27, Jiang Feng, party secretary of Liyang, and Xu Huaqin, mayor of Liyang, met with the delegation.

During their stay in Liyang, the delegates visited Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial Park, the Museum of Liyang and the Culture and Art Center. They also participated in the race walking held at Bieqiao Yuanxiang Flower Sea together with the local people.
