On September 28th, the 2011 China (Changzhou) International Exchange Forum on the Development of New Material Industry was opened. This conference was organized by Changzhou Municipal Government, Chemical Industry Daily of Japan and Lanxess (China) Co. Ltd., and was hosted by Changzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and Changzhou Bureau of Science and Technology. Pro. Zhao Liancheng (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering), Mr. Xu Shufan and Mr. Liu Hongzhi (Deputy Directors of National Ministry of Environmental Protection) and Mr. Zhu Xiaomin (Deputy Mayor of Changzhou) attended the Forum and delivered speeches.
　　As one of the key activities of the 2011 China (Changzhou) Int��l Forum on Science and Technology & Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, the New Materials Forum was meant to integrate both domestic and foreign high-quality technical and trade resources and discuss on the latest technology, developing trend and cooperation opportunity, so as to promote all-round collaboration between local companies and international corporations or R&D institutions and carry forward the development of new material industry in Changzhou.
