On September 20th, upon the approval of the China Panda Protection Center, the two star pandas ��Zhuangmei�� (strong girl) and ��Aoyun�� (Olympics) who had participated in the World Expo 2010 Shanghai were permanently settled in Nanshan Bamboo Forest.
　　In order to enrich the tourism connotation, before the second-phase project was started, Nanshan Bamboo Forest had already planned to build a distinctive Panda Pavilion in its 2,300 � large natural bamboo woods. After reaching agreement with the China Panda Protection Research Center, an area of over 1,000 � was specially reserved in the Nanshan scenic spot and finally built into a multi-function Panda Pavilion.
