On September 20th, upon the approval of the China Panda Protection Center, the two star pandas ˇ°Zhuangmeiˇ± (strong girl) and ˇ°Aoyunˇ± (Olympics) who had participated in the World Expo 2010 Shanghai were permanently settled in Nanshan Bamboo Forest.
In order to enrich the tourism connotation, before the second-phase project was started, Nanshan Bamboo Forest had already planned to build a distinctive Panda Pavilion in its 2,300 ㎠large natural bamboo woods. After reaching agreement with the China Panda Protection Research Center, an area of over 1,000 ㎠was specially reserved in the Nanshan scenic spot and finally built into a multi-function Panda Pavilion.
Referring to Mr. Meng Guangcai, President of Tianmu Lake Tourist Co., Ltd., the Nanshan Bamboo Forest enjoys abundant resources and has high oxygen content. During the investigation, experts unanimously found that NanshanˇŻs superior natural resources and first-class ecological environment perfectly met the harsh requirements of pandaˇŻs living environment.
