On December 23, the National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Construction Promotion Conference was held in Wujin. Wujin Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone is the second national high-tech industrial development zone inChangzhou. During the "Twelfth-Five Year" period, it strives to achieve about 15% growth in annual GDP, about 20% growth in annual industrial production and sales, about 25% growth in annual service industry sales revenue and double increase in economic output. In addition, Wujin aims to build the development zone to be a modern science and technology business eco-town, which ranks the top class inChinaand top ten inJiangsu.
