Launch of Changzhou homegrown movies: “Tang Jingchuan and “Yanghu Boxing“/td>

  After the huge success of Quqiubai and Yang Zhihua, another two Changzhou homegrown movies will be shot recently. On September 19th, the foundation ceremony of Tang Jingchuan and the boot ceremony of Yanghu Boxing were held in combination.
  Tang Jingchuan captures the story of Mr. Jingchuan who lived in the Chendu thatched cottage in Changzhou after his twice banishment from the imperial court. This movie will present local customs in Changzhou by picturing the old streets of Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the old streets of Song Dynasty. The film is planned to complete shooting before next June and will be released in 2013.
  Yanghu Boxing is named after one of the intangible cultural heritages in Changzhou Yanghu Boxing, which describes the story between the two successors of Yanghu Boxing: the Grandfather Xiao and his grandson. Changzhous two intangible cultural heritages, Yanghu Boxing and the traditional comb production process, will be screened in the movie.
