On the afternoon of 10th October, the Acting Mayor Yao Xiaodong met with the 8-member delegation of French Orthopedics and Traumatology Association headed by Ms. Marie-Chantal Piques, the Medical Counselor of France Embassy in China.
　　In November 2006, Changzhou No.1 Hospital built the friendly cooperation relationship with Pythia-Sale Pythia Hospital Co. Till August this year, the two hospitals have established 9 medical cooperating centers, and 37 experts from France have visited Changzhou for holding academic lectures, outpatient clinic and surgery demonstration. These 27 French experts are currently employed as guest professors by Changzhou No.1 Hospital. Meanwhile, No.1 Hospital has sent 18 excellent young doctors learning abroad in France. This time, the French delegation is meant to carry out investigation on the situation of the two hospitals�� friendly cooperation relationship.
