In order to help enterprises resume production, on the afternoon of June 4, a charter flight for South Korean technicians took off from Seoul and successfully landed at Changzhou International Airport. It was the first international charter flight scheduled to Changzhou Airport since the city started resuming work and production.

Before leaving South Korea, the passengers had conducted self-health monitoring for at least 14 days, tested negative for COVID-19 at designated hospitals of the Korea Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (KCDC) within 72 hours before departure, and were wearing personal protection equipment (PPE) in accordance with the requirements of the airline crew during the flight. After the flight arrived, Changzhou Airport opened a ‘green channel to disinfect each luggage and inquired about health-related information of each passenger. The qualified passengers then followed a designated route to the first floor for immigration procedures and baggage collection, after which they were shuttled directly to the designated quarantine site in Jintan for screening. Those who tested negative for the virus were then sent to their workplace or residence directly.

It is learned that of the 105 technicians, 70 are staff of BEST (Jiangsu) Technology Co., Ltd., while the other 35 are employees of an enterprise in Suzhou. They will participate in the transformation of production lines, equipment installation and commissioning processes to help their enterprises resume production.
