On the morning of December 8, the Phase I Project of Changzhou Senior New Energy Material was officially put into operation. Mayor Ding Chun and Chen Xiufeng, Chairman of Shenzhen Senior Technology Material Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony.

Shenzhen Senior Technology Material is the first listed company of lithium battery isolation materials in China and the largest enterprise in the industry, maintaining its leading position in the field.

Ding Chun said that the Phase I Project of Changzhou Senior New Energy Material was successfully put into operation, marking the new situation of large-scale and industrialized development. He hopes that in 2019 Changzhou Senior New Energy Material Co., Ltd. will do a good job in production management, accelerate technology upgrades and seize the opportunities in the growing market of new energy materials.

It is learned that the project was settled in Changzhou Economic Development Zone in May last year, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. The goal is to build a top-class lithium ion battery separator production and R&D base. In the first phase, four high-speed lithium battery separator production lines have been built.

Deputy Mayor Liang Yibo and Secretary-General Hang Yong, as well as the main leaders of Wujin District and Changzhou Economic Development Zone attended the launching ceremony.
