On December 26^th, the first ��Feiyangyu Cup�� National Small-Size Paper-Cutting Exhibition was opened in Jintan. The sizes of all the 215 works on display are limited to 20 cm * 20 cm.
　　Jiangsu Feiyangyu Garments Co., Ltd. is a famous clothing company located in Jintan. Yang Zhao, Chairman of Feiyangyu, is the successor of the national intangible heritage ��Jintan Paper-Carving.�� In August, the company, together with the Committee of Paper Cutting of Chinese Culture Promotion Society of the Ministry of Culture, collected paper-cutting works nationwide. Within three months, they received a total of 2,620 works by 600 artists, with themes related to customs, flowers, fruits, vegetables, etc. After three-round votes by eight expert judges, ��The New Bride�� (Wang Hong, Beijing), ��Memories of Hometown�� (Hua Yuexiu, Shanxi) and ��Boys Celebrating Lunar New Year�� (Zhang Shanlai, Shandong) were awarded gold medals. Jintan Paper-Carving artists Qian Yunru and Li Xiang won Silver and Bronze Prizes.
