On the afternoon of May 30, leaders at the municipal Foreign Affairs Office held a meeting with Edward Shapira, the Consul General of the Israeli Consulate in Shanghai, to discuss the signing issue of sister-city relations between Changzhou and Netanya.

At the conference, Zhang Yu, director of the Foreign Affairs Office, thanked Consul Shapira for his longtime support to the exchanges between the two cities. Due to the impact of Covid-19, the signing ceremony was postponed. He hopes that the two cities will sign the agreement in the next two months. According to Consul Shapira, he fully supports the friendly ties between the two cities, and will communicate with relevant departments in Netanya to facilitate the signing ceremony.
