Beginning from July 4, Changzhou Cultural Center will launch six public training classes of “Intangible Heritage" for the citizens, especially young people for free. These six classes are respectively on subjects of figurines, Hutang paper cutting, random-stitching embroidery, Changzhou recite, Xiao Re Hun (a kind of folk banter popular in Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces), and Xiju (a traditional local drama in South Jiangsu). Each class enrolls 20 students who will be taught by the inheritors of intangible heritages, half day for one lesson. These classes are regarded as the “Intangible Heritage series among the 20 free public courses initiated by Changzhou Cultural Center between June and September this year.
