On the afternoon of Oct 27, Changzhou Taiwan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Forum was held in Zhonglou District.

At the forum,Comprehensive Cooperation Agreements were signed respectively between Changzhou University and Chihlee University of Technology, Changzhou Technical Institute of Tourism & Commerce and Hsing Wu University, China Medical University’s R & D team and Changzhou University’s School of Medicine and Life Science.

The Students Innovation Pioneering Park of Changzhou Science and Education Town andthe +1℃Youth Innovation Workshop were awarded the title of “Taiwan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base in Changzhou.�

At present, over 100 Taiwanese youths are working or running businesses in Changzhou, setting up more than 50 entities.

After the meeting, Vice Mayor Fang Guoqiang met with representatives of the participating universities of Taiwan. He hoped that both sides will deepen cooperation in education, culture and talent pool to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
