Recently, Wujin Industrial Development Zone (WIZ) has been upgraded as the National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone upon the approval of the State Council. This marks another milestone in the history of the development of Wujin District, and Wujin has thus been marching in the forefront of the opening-up progress in China.
　　At present, WIZ has more than 3,800 enterprises and has introduced 168 projects each with a total investment of over $ 10 million. A large number of flagship enterprises have been gathered in the zone, including 12 Fortune 500 companies such as General Motors, Bosch, Mann, Sumitomo, and Bridgestone. After the success of upgrading, WIZ will provide more preferential policies and gather more innovative resources to support the development of industries and projects, as well as helping SMEs in financing and listing.
