It is learned from the authority of transportation in Jintan that the construction of three express roads between Jintan and Changzhou, with an investment of 2.08 billion yuan and a length of more than 27 km, has been commenced. Upon completion, it will take only 20 minutes driving from Changzhou to Jintan.

One of the three roads is named Jinwu Road, which is designed with a speed limit of 100 kilometers per hour, 15 bridges and no traffic lights on the whole route, referring to the engineering and technical personnel.

The other two express roads are the extended lanes of Yanzheng Road and Huacheng Road.

All the three roads are expected to be opened to traffic at end of this year or early next year.
