In recent years, Changzhou鈥檚 power battery production has been booming with Liyang (county-level city) and Jintan district as the core manufacturing bases, ranking first in Jiangsu province in battery production capacity.

From January to May, the output value of Changzhou鈥檚 power battery industry reached 44.712 billion yuan, an increase of 86.6 percent year-on-year, maintaining a strong growth trend. This contributed 46.8 percent to the growth of output value of the city鈥檚 industrial enterprises above the designated size.
