Recently, the Sino-Europe (Changzhou) Green Innovation Park has published this year’s to-do list. Items on the agenda include establishing a sound mechanism, cooperating with embassies and consulates, signing cooperation programs and creating model programs. Founded in October last year, the Sino-Europe (Changzhou) Innovation Park is dedicated to building a sample in Sino-Europe Green Partnership and aims to become a cooperation model in UNIDO Green Development. With support from MIIT’s Center for International Economic and Technological Cooperation, the Park draws upon the resources from Changzhou’s green building materials industry and construction industry, and enhances international cooperation between China and Europe in relative fields. According to Xu Ning, secretary of the Party Working Committee in Wujin District Green Building Industry Demonstration Zone, this year, under the theme of “green, low-carbon and energy conservation� the district aims to introduce pioneering ideas and technologies from Europe. Priority will be given to cooperation in circular economy, zero-carbon technology, energy conservation techniques and digital intelligence. In addition, the Green Innovation Park will release a white paper on China and Europe’s green building industry. Currently, the Green Innovation Park boasts 450 enterprises above the designated size. It has established a far-reaching cooperation network with European countries like Finland and the Netherlands.With a complete industrial chain ranging from R&D, manufacturing, trade, to testing&inspection and recycling, it aims to provide training programs, attract advanced SMEs and develop headquarters economy, so as to become an innovation center for building technologies in the Yangtze River Delta.
